There is always something to do at your
Home Away From Home!
At Culver Communities, every day is filled with opportunities to stay active, connected, and joy-filled. Our Life Enrichment Program includes activities like cognitive games, arts and crafts, music, active games/exercise, intergenerational activities and special events-activities thoughtfully designed to support memory socialization, encourage self-expression, and promote independence.
Community is at the heart of what we do! Residents gather daily and build meaningful friendships with each other, staff, volunteers and our regular visitors. When summer arrives, our raised garden in the courtyard becomes a favorite gathering place-offering hands-on fun, fresh air, and a sense of purpose as the resident tend to it, making it their own.
We're proud to welcome community groups in to our home throughout the year, including local schools and community music programs in the greater Grand Traverse area, who bring energy and entertainment into our residents. Intergenerational experiences are especially meaningful, creating moments of connection between generations across the lifespan.
Residents are empowered to shape their experience through monthly Resident Council meetings, Where they share ideas, choose activities, vote on special meals, and even decide what to grow in the garden. At Culver Communities, every voice is valued, and every day is an opportunity to thrive.
